Juvéderm is primarily made from hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body, so the chances of allergic reaction are very slim. The results for Juvéderm are immediate, although true results may not be seen for a few days, after the swelling has gone down. Recommended at least yearly to maintain results.
